  28. (Mom) If we all made the effort to understand each other, the world would be a better place to live in. Taking the time to listen to others and genuinely take an interest in or understand what is being said is a form of showing respect. You don't necessarily have to agree with what is being said or convert your own viewpoints. Seeing things from different angles gives us all an opportunity to experience life outside of our usual "comfort zone" and expands our horizons. As we all learn something new about each other and share our views, we will eventually learn that there is more shared common ground than not!..."It's a small world after all."

Respect is a form of kindness - such as saying "good try" when someone gets out in baseball. We need to show respect so that people don't feel sad and bad about themselves. Respect is also about allowing others to have their opinions and to believe in their own beliefs. We should respect our elders, friends, family and anyone else we know. If you are kind and show respect to others you will get respect from them. Respect doesn't cost any money but it is very valuable to the person who receives it.

  102. Respect other people even if they don't respect you. If you respect them they will respect you. If somebody has something that you may not like don't say that you don't like it. It could hurt them if you say that if you say that you don't like what somebody has. You should respect the way that people do things, how they look, and what they have. If somebody beleives in something don't say that it is not true even if you don't beleive in it. You may not beleive the same things but you should respect what they beleive.

I think this means that you need to respect other people and their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, belongings, and even friends. For example, if a boy has a friend that is a girl you should not make fun of him. I learned that from my own experience. If a person asks you if another person is mean, even if you think the person is mean you shouldn't say that. I learned that the hard way. Thank you friend for telling on me so I could learn not to do it. Thanks for reading. :)

  106. If you respect people and their things the niceness might help you one day. But if you don't respect people and their things the badness might come back and hurt you. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything. You shouldn't insult people because of their beliefs. For an example if someone said I was stupid because of what I believed in I would be miserable. So you should respect that. You shoudn't insult people about what you are wearing. Respect means alot to one. Maybe to one person respect means nothing, but maybe to another person respect means the world. Respect the golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated.

  110. I think its important to respect everyone, even if they aren't related to you. You should be respectfull becuase others will treat you like you treat them. You should resect others feelings even if it doesn't matter to you. My dad has my old baseball jersies and we tell him to donate them but he doesn't because they mean a lot to him. Aneesh
